Alfa Romeo soon history?

Post by French Connection on Sat Feb 13, 2010 12:04 pm

The big mouth CEO of the Fiat group who now tries to blame everyone but himself for the Alfa Romeo disaster will decide in April, whether Alfa will become obsolete in the near future.

Alfa Romeo sold only 110,000 cars in 2009 because of quality issues and weight issues on the new models, which both Karl Heinz Kalbfell and Herbert Demel tried to solve before they were sacked by the CEO (who's name I don't even want to mention before I get sick) who in turn bodged it up even more than rather solving it.

It is a shame that the bean counter brigade has got the last day, but at least there is one consolation. One day they will shut themselves down. Then and only then common sense will return to mankind.

If money men ever get involved in a design, it will fail. And that seems to be Alfas' problems of late; plus they're always underpowered...the Fiat group need to move some nutcases from Arbarth to work for Alfas design team
