Getting into gear Empty Getting into gear

Post by French Connection Fri Jan 08, 2010 2:16 am

The holidays are finished and soon the snow will be gone.

What will stop us then from getting this site into gear?

I can't see anything. Can you?

Let's get it going then.

We have lot to do.

Having a few people with 206s, 207s and 306s we have a base to build on.

Oherwise we have performace tuning expertise, race and rally exerience and Peugeot techncians on the site and last but not least we have enthusiasts.

Take this thread to make sggestions how to make it successful and also to tell us about the progress. (The current daily post count is 4.39, which means room for improveme).

Let's set some goals on threads, technical information and membership.

And now fire away with your ideas that we can start the teamwork.

well at the minute i think a good place to start would be for everyone who is a member should post up detailed threads with pictures of their cars. i wont do mine just yet because my 207 will be sold by this weekend i think so i'll hold off until the new one comes along. this will give new members something to read and hopefully encourage them to do the same. at the minute i think the main thing is for people to spread the word and try and raise the membership count. once we have a few more members maybe in a month or so when the weather is slightly better a meet could be arranged. this would show new members what we get up to and hopefully they'l want to come along to the next ones.

Sounds like a plan. As long as we get more people with enthusiasm and a love of cars, without petty rivalries and arguments, we should be growing in no time. I think the meets will certainly aid in growth.

also if anyone localish needs a hand with anything on their cars give me a shout im eager to get involved lets have it lads. im gonna pop along to a local place and see about getting some stickers made up for cars if people are interested these will be given out free when i see people if someone wants to make a design up i will cover the cost of these.

the stickers seem like a good idea; most people from 206info and P206 either don't own 206s or are involved in some sort of dispute - we need to attract new people to the performance world. Maybe even getting companies to advertise the place and we advertise them on here.
